Blackstone Cajun Shrimp Cocktail
Usually shrimp cocktail is boring and boiled, but this Blackstone Cajun Shrimp Cocktail recipe is cooked on the griddle for maximum flavor!
And with a little spicy kick from the Cajun seasoning and homemade Cajun cocktail sauce.
You can serve this room temperature or chilled for the perfect easy appetizer on the griddle!
How to make Blackstone Cajun Shrimp Cocktail
First pat 2 pounds of jumbo shrimp dry and place them in a bowl.
Mine were peeled and deveined with the tails still on.
Add some olive oil, Cajun seasoning, lime juice, and Tabasco or cayenne pepper sauce.
Then toss until combined.
Next preheat your griddle to medium heat for a few minutes.
Add some olive oil and the seasoned shrimp.
They cook pretty quick, just about 4 to 5 minutes total.
I mixed and flipped mine with hibachi spatulas a few times.
The cocktail sauce is mixture of ketchup, more Cajun seasoning and lime juice, plenty of prepared horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, and grated garlic.
Oh, and more Tabasco or cayenne pepper sauce to make it nice and spicy 🙂
I made this ahead of time and set it aside.
We served Blackstone Cajun Shrimp Cocktail chilled with the sauce on the side for dipping 🙂
Usually shrimp cocktail is served with lemon, but I went with lime to go with the Cajun theme.
