Smoked Jalapeno Bacon Ranch Dip
Smoked Jalapeno Bacon Ranch Dip is a fun party dip recipe or appetizer, extra special because it’s cooked on the smoker or Traeger pellet grill.
Whether it’s a game day snack, holiday appetizer, or just a fun snack night on the patio with friends… this dip is sure to a be a hit.
We served this with Fritos Scoops, but tortilla chips will work too.
How to make Smoked Jalapeno Bacon Ranch Dip
First you’ll have to cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat.
I just cut about 12 slices of bacon right into my skillet.
Then put 2 blocks of cream cheese into a casserole dish or foil pan.
And add a 16 ounce container of sour cream, the cooked bacon, 2 cups of shredded cheese, a few diced jalapenos, and ranch seasoning.
You could use 2 packets, or 4 tablespoons of the ranch seasoning.
Next stop is the Traeger pellet grill or smoker set to 225 degrees.
Place the dip right on the grill grate, no need to stir it yet.
Once it gets a little melty, it’s so easy to stir together.
I stirred mine a few times as this stayed on the smoker for about 2 hours.
Finally, add another cup of cheese over top… I used Monterey Jack.
I also was a little “extra” and decorated the top with more bacon and a sliced jalapeno for presentation purposes 😉
Serve Smoked Jalapeno Bacon Ranch Dip with any chips of choice for dipping 🙂
It’s best served warm or at room temperature.
A cheesy, creamy ranch dip with bacon and a slight heat from the jalapenos… yes, please!
