Blackstone Pizza Roll Ups
Such a simple appetizer or game day snack idea for the griddle! So easy that my grandson helped make these Blackstone Pizza Roll Ups from start to finish.
This was an attempt to see if how it worked to griddle-cook crescent rolls.
I am ecstatic to report back that it worked SO well that I cannot wait to come up with more recipe ideas like this.
How to make Blackstone Pizza Roll Ups
First lay the crescent rolls flat and place some pepperoni slices and half of a string cheese stick in the center of each.
If you wanted to make a vegetarian version, simply leave out the pepperoni.
Then roll them up just like you would normally roll a crescent roll.
And get yourself a cutie sidekick to help, great job to my sweet grandson!
Preheat the Blackstone griddle or flat top grill to the absolute lowest heat setting and brush some butter on the surface.
Then place your pizza roll ups right on the griddle.
And cover with a melting dome, lid, or foil pan for 7 to 9 minutes.
Keep an eye on them as griddle surface temperatures can vary.
Give them a flip and cook, covered, for another 7 to 9 minutes.
Perfectly golden brown and delicious!
Mix some garlic powder and Italian seasoning with melted butter and brush over top during the last minute.
Blackstone Pizza Roll Ups are quite the addicting snack… especially that crispy cheese!
Serve with pizza sauce for dipping and enjoy 🙂
