Blackstone Garlic Steak Bites and Potatoes
Dinner recipes for the griddle don’t have to be complicated, in fact sometimes it’s the simplest meals that are the BEST! Blackstone Garlic Steak Bites and Potatoes are proof 🙂
Just a few ingredients for a spectacular and tasty dinner on the flat top grill.
Ya can’t go wrong with steak and potatoes, right?!
How to make Blackstone Garlic Steak and Potatoes
Start by dicing 1 1/2 pounds of redskin or gold potatoes.
Then cut 1 1/2 to 2 pounds of steak into bite size pieces.
I went with sirloin but really just about any cut of steak will be perfect.
Mince some garlic and put it all on a tray along with butter and your favorite seasoning blend.
Preheat your Blackstone griddle or flat top grill to medium heat for a few minutes, then drizzle some cooking oil of choice and add the potatoes.
Season them with kosher salt and pepper.
Pour some water on the taters and cover them with a melting dome for about 8 to 9 minutes.
You’ll want to remove the dome a few times to mix them with your hibachi spatulas.
And add a little more water each time you cover them again.
Next add more cooking oil, the steak, garlic, kosher salt, and pepper.
Also sprinkle some of your favorite seasoning blend.
A steak seasoning would be perfect, but I opted for my Kinder’s garlic and herb seasoning (kind of addicted to this one at the moment).
Cook this for 5 to 6 minutes, mixing and flipping a few times with your hibachi spatulas.
During the last minute add 4 tablespoons of butter… because butter just makes everything better 🙂
Mix it together as the butter melts and dinner is done!
Blackstone Garlic Steak Bites and Potatoes is just as yummy as it is beautiful!
For us, this was a complete meal.
But a salad on the side wouldn’t hurt.
