Traeger Nashville Hot Chicken Flatbreads

Traeger Nashville Hot Chicken Flatbreads

Today, my friends, I have for you the perfect mix up between Nashville fried chicken and pizzas… Traeger Nashville Hot Chicken Flatbreads!

But these are not nearly involved as one might think.

That’s because I am taking a few shortcuts and using precooked naan bread and frozen popcorn chicken.

ingredients for the pizzas

How to make Traeger Nashville Hot Chicken Flatbreads

First cook the popcorn chicken according to the package directions.

I would recommend either the oven or air fryer so the chicken is nice and crispy.

And while the chicken is cooking, make the Nashville hot butter for the pizzas.

bottle of dry Nashville hot seasoning

Melt 6 tablespoons of butter and add some dry Nashville hot seasoning, honey, kosher salt, and pepper.

You can easily find this seasoning in the spice section of most grocery stores or online.

Let the seasoning dissolve for a few minutes, then taste, and add more Nashville hot seasoning according to your spice preference.

I started with a little seasoning, tasted a few times, and added more as needed.

To assemble the flatbreads, start with brushing some of the hot honey butter over each precooked naan bread.

Then cut any larger pieces of chicken into smaller pieces.

And toss the chicken with the remaining hot honey butter.

Top each flatbread with the coated popcorn chicken, pile on shredded mozzarella cheese, and an extra sprinkle of the Nashville hot seasoning.

Preheat your pellet grill to 375 degrees.

And place the flatbreads on the grill grate for 12 to 15 minutes.

Place some pickle chips on the flatbreads during the last minute or two of cooking.

Traeger Nashville Hot Chicken Flatbreads sure are one of my favorite pellet grill recipes!

A great dinner recipe or cut smaller pieces and serve as a unique appetizer!
