Blackstone BBQ Chicken Salads
Talk about the perfect summer meal, my friends… these Blackstone BBQ Chicken Salads are it!!
Simple, light, cooked outside on the griddle, and BBQ is THE official flavor of summer around here.
Well, that’s IF summer had a flavor đŸ˜‰
We are taking a little help from the store and using BBQ salad kits… the veggies are chopped and the dressing and toppings are included.
It really doesn’t get any easier!
How to make Blackstone BBQ Chicken Salads
In addition to the 2 BBQ salad kits I have some chicken, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and corn on the cob.
And of course, my favorite BBQ seasoning blend đŸ™‚
First cut the chicken into bite size pieces and put them in a bowl.
Then add some Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, kosher salt, pepper, and plenty of that BBQ seasoning.
Toss the chicken until evenly coated.
Then brush the corn with melted butter and season with kosher salt, pepper, and BBQ seasoning as well.
Preheat the Blackstone griddle or flat top grill to medium heat for several minutes.
Then add some cooking oil of choice along with the seasoned corn and chicken.
The chicken and corn will cook 9 to 11 minutes total.
Flip the chicken and rotate the corn a few times.
If the chicken is done before the corn, simply remove it and let the corn cook a few more minutes.
And if you have a melting dome for the corn, you can use it to speed up the cooking time a bit.
If not, no worries đŸ™‚
Once the chicken and corn are done, let them cool slightly.
And when the corn is cool, cut the kernels off the cob and start assembling the salads.
Divide 2 salad kits between 4 bowls or plates.
And combine them according to the bag directions with the BBQ salad dressing and topping packets.
Then add the BBQ chicken, corn, and any other toppings like cheese, avocado, and/or tomatoes!
This recipe could easily be considered THE official meal of summer… Blackstone BBQ Chicken Salads!
