Blackstone Italian Tortellini Caesar Salad
This dinner recipe for the griddle is, in my opinion, the perfect light and fresh summer meal… Blackstone Italian Tortellini Caesar Salad!
Think of it as a cross between an Italian sub and a pasta salad.
But all tossed together with a Caesar salad 🙂
Yes, Yes… the griddle or flat top grill is not a MUST to make this dish.
BUT, it does add to the slightly crisp, yet still soft texture of the tortellini, and gives the deli meats a special flare as well.
Plus, cooking on the griddle is just waaaaayyyy more fun 😉

How to make Blackstone Italian Tortellini Caesar Salad
First thaw a 10 ounce bag of cheese tortellini and place it on a tray (no need to boil the pasta, just thawing is perfect).
Then dice some ham, salami, and pepperoni.
A little Italian seasoning as well and we are ready to head to the Blackstone or flat top griddle.

Preheat the griddle to medium for a few minutes, then add some cooking oil of choice along with the thawed tortellini.
Squirt some water and cover with a melting dome for 5 to 6 minutes total.

Remove the melting dome a few times to flip the tortellini with hibachi spatulas.
Add a bit more water each time you cover them up again.

Next add the diced meats to the griddle with a little more cooking oil if needed.

And some dried Italian seasoning.

Mix it all together with hibachi spatulas for just a few more minutes.

Let the tortellini and meats cool for a few minutes.
Then toss it all together with chopped romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, banana pepper rings, and Caesar salad dressing.

Serve Blackstone Italian Tortellini Caesar Salad right away 🙂

If you don’t think you’ll eat it all right away, pack some up before adding the dressing and store in the fridge.
Then toss with the dressing right before serving.
