Blackstone Steak and Green Beans
Our simple Friday night dinner was this Blackstone Steak and Green Beans.
We were gifted some fresh green beans and garden tomatoes, so I went to our local butcher shop for the steaks for a complete meal.
Some of my griddle recipes have a bit more flair and complexity, but these simple dinners on the flat top grill are my favorites.
How to make Blackstone Steak and Green Beans
First trim the green beans and season the steaks.
I went with kosher salt, pepper, and a steak seasoning blend.
Put them on a tray along with the tomatoes, garlic, and butter and head out to your griddle.
Preheat the Blackstone to medium heat for several minutes.
Then add some cooking oil of choice, the green beans, kosher salt, and pepper.
I also seasoned with some of the steak seasoning as well.
Cook the green beans on the griddle for 4 to 5 minutes, then add the tomatoes and garlic.
The combo of green beans and tomatoes is SOOOOO good!
Add a little more cooking oil and the steaks as well.
Continue cooking 6 to 7 more minutes, flipping the steaks halfway through.
And mix the green beans and tomatoes a few times.
I cooked my steaks exactly 3 minutes per side for medium rare.
For medium, cook them 4 minutes per side.
Finally some butter joins the party… because butter just makes everything better!
Some on the green beans, and top each steak with some butter as well to melt over top.
Blackstone Steak and Green Beans is the perfect, simple griddle dinner 🙂
Healthy, fresh, and also low carb/ Keto friendly!
