Blackstone Bacon and Egg Pizza
This is a fantastic breakfast or brunch recipe for the griddle, or Blackstone Bacon and Egg Pizza can be served as breakfast-for-dinner.
Cutting into the luscious egg yolk when serving creates the rich sauce for the pizza.
I typically am not a huge fan of the tube of pizza dough, but it gets perfectly crisp when cooked on the flat top griddle… so I may a fan now 😉
How to make Blackstone Bacon and Egg Pizza
First preheat the griddle to medium low and cut 6 slices of bacon right onto the griddle with kitchen scissors.
Cook the bacon about 6 to 8 minutes, moving them around with spatulas a few times.
Then remove the bacon, scrape away just some of the bacon grease, and crack four eggs on the griddle.
And season with kosher salt and pepper.
Cook the eggs about a minute per side and remove them.
I put the bacon and eggs on the same tray I used to carry everything outside on.
Add some butter, and once melted, unroll the pizza dough.
Flip the dough after 2 minutes.
Drizzle maple syrup over top and then pile on 2 cups of shredded cheese of choice.
Add the bacon and eggs over top and cover with a 9×13 foil pan or lid for 4 to 6 more minutes.
Just until the cheese has melted and crust is cooked through.
Check the crust a few times and if it’s browning too quickly just turn the griddle heat to low or off.
My family loved this Blackstone Bacon and Egg Pizza!
Messy to eat with the egg yolks but in the most fun way.
