How to make Traeger Maple Glazed Chicken Wings
The secret is in the sauce my friends… the secret to amazing flavor, that is 😉
Just 1/2 cup of pure maple syrup, 1/2 cup Dijon mustard, a little soy sauce, and some crushed red pepper flakes.
Then place 3 pounds of jumbo split chicken wings in a gallon size plastic bag along with a few spoonfuls of the maple dijon sauce.
Massage the bag until the wings are coated.
And marinate for at least an hour.
Then remove the wings from the bag and season them with kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.
Next stop is the Traeger pellet grill or smoker.
Set it to 250 degrees and cook the wings for 2 1/2 hours total.
Be sure to flip them halfway through.
When there’s about 30 minutes left, glaze them a few times with the maple dijon sauce.
A gorgeous golden brown color for these Traeger Maple Glazed Wings!
If you have any of the sauce left, serve it with the wings.
